Does Satan control Airplanes? by Elaine Davenport August 31, 2014

A PLANEA dear friend of mine years ago told me that God could not protect me on an airplane.  Really?  I asked.  I had never heard that one before…but there’s a first time for everything…lol.  They replied:  “Because Satan is the god of the air.”  Well, that was bad news…it made sense…but…it isn’t true.

I had to study that one out.

You see Satan would like to take out every believer on the planet.  God gave Adam the power to rule and reign, but Adam let Satan trick him out of his  job and Jesus came and defeated the devil and gave man back the position.

Yet, we still have preachers that go around teaching that God takes people’s lives and we shouldn’t question it.  In fact, they will say God caused somebody to get killed be in a plane crash, get shot or take3n in a tornado, when that’s not the kind of God He is.

So, Satan does not control airplanes…but being honest he would probably like to.  I think there is too much prayer holding him back.  A friend told me that when she rode on an airplane, God allowed her to see angels…holding up each wing!   Bow that’s a vision!

And the purpose of all of this is just to say…I’m Thankful to God!

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

1 John 4:18 ESV

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Psalm 111:10 ESV

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

1 Peter 5:8 ESV

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

2 Corinthians 11:14 ESV

And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

James 4:7 ESV

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 1:13-15 ESV

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

Ephesians 6:  11-18

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
