It’s about to be 2014 and I’m about to be quite happy.  You see, like a lot of people I have been working on some stuff and I am expecting 20144 to be a much better year!   I did not say a pay off year or a jackpot year…but just better.  I am not just talking about finances, but I am talking about a combination of things.  Things like my creating a plan, refining it, sticking to it, disciplining myself when it comes to work, work in faith but not dreaming, finding a great balance with all of the things that I do.

From  spiritual perspective…I do not want to be dull or dependent.  I was to be just as bubbly and sparkly as I was when I first got saved and realized what it meant.  I want God to give me a burden for SOULS!   Yes just drop it in my lap God!   I can take it!  That’s gonna make me so so happy!

Philippians 3:18, “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.”AAABURDEN

Happy New Year’s!

ATHANKSGIVING1111I  know it sounds crazy!      Am I saying that I saw my Thanks coming and coming in fast motion everyday?   Yes!   I am saying this!

And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

1 John 5:14-15

And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

James 4:3

You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Prayer Bible Verses from the Book of Psalms

Psalm 50:15

What do I mean?   Here’s the story:

A while back I was listening to some messages and I was challenged and inspired to start praying much more than I was.  So I did it. I began to start praying any number of hours from 3 to 7 hours a day. I did it for over 2 months…and a strange thing happened…I began to see the answers to my prayers during that time.   Sometimes the answers came the same day or the next day.  I was so Blessedf!  I  still am. But, I warn you…do not stop.ATHANKSGIVING1111

1 Chronicles 29:11-13 (NLT)
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength. “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved. . .” (Mark 16:15,16)

COMMENT: Today we are going to tackle a very sensitive subject. Some may even call me an unflattering name because of my stance. Since I am African American, racist would be inappropriate. Of course, I could be painted with the same broad brush used on Bill Cosby and be called an “Uncle Tom”. What is that old childhood adage?: “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.”  Many of the national black leaders blame the plight of the inner city dwellers on racism. They say that the crime and poverty are due to the bias that exists in America. It is my opinion that this kind of “victim mentality” does not get to the crux of the problem. The problem is moral decay. I’m convinced that the enormous rates of  incarceration, high school drop-outs and HIV infections are a reflection of just one startling statistic that speaks volumes: 70% of Black children are born out of wedlock. What do you expect to get when you have children raising children? And to add misery to injury, there is no male input. The family is the basic institution primarily responsible to produce viable individuals. Of course, the answer to any earthly problem is Jesus. We send missionaries all over the world but we need missionaries right here in the “hood” to bring God’s Word which contains the answer to living a successful and overcoming life. We are grateful to the courageous men and women who have heeded this challenge. I am blessed to have two personal friends who do just that.  Steve and Teri Mullen are ministering in south east Washington DC. Their ministry is called KIDS KONNECTION.* Let us pray for them and that more courageous brethren will join in the fray.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
from the fowler’s snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my

COMMENT: “computers for Dummies” is one of a host of books written in simple terms for people who are “technologically challenged”. Well, I fall into that category, but I prefer the term “novice”. One of the problems I have is sending an e-mail to someone who is not in my address book. I have to make sure that every single character in the address is correct; otherwise it will not be delivered. If I make the slightest mistake in searching for a Web Site, I am rebuked. In cyberspace, one has to be perfect in order to communicate. I thank God that He is not that way! We don’t have to go through any particular ritual to get the Father’s ear. It is not necessary to bow our heads, close our eyes, bend our knees, or lay prostrate. Of course, if you feel prompted to practice any of these gestures you can, but they are not prerequisites. When Peter began to sink in his attempt to walk on water, he didn’t have time for any rigmarole. He cried out to Jesus and the response was immediate. (Matthew 14:30,31) However, we are given some instruction regarding prayer and it’s in John 14:13,14. . . .”And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

WISE SAYING: WHEN PRAYING, DON’T GIVE GOD INSTRUCTIONS – JUST REPORT FOR DUTY!

Merry Christmas To All of You From Cafe Sozo!

*  I took this out of my files from back on 2007!  It will really Bless you.  Only God could give this information and I am quite thankful!

THE POWER OF THE BLESSING!

And the woman bare a son and called his name Samson: and the child grew and the LORD blessed him.   Judges 13:  24

And the spirit of the LORD began to move him at times…Judges 13: 25

The LORD bless thee and keep thee, the LORD make his face shine upon thee:  The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace.  Numbers 6:  23-27

Blessings to you today!  Oh what a wonderful day that it is!  We have great cause to rejoice!   I pray that all is well with you and with your household.  If it isn’t, it will be.  The situation has no choice but to change for the better, because you are there and you are BLESSED!  You are a mighty person and God values you so much.  He has called only you to do great and marvelous things while walking on a path that He called you to walk on!   God wants you to be happy, very happy!

I looked up the word Blessed in the Websters 1828 Dictionary and it says:  Happy; prosperous in worldly affairs; enjoying spiritual happiness and the favor of God; enjoying heavenly felicity.  That word felicity :  Happiness, or rather great happiness; blessedness; blissfulness; appropriately, the joys of heaven.

The next thing that I did was to find people in the bible who were Blessed.  I began to note not only the joy and the miracles that unfolded in their lives; but the power that came upon them to do supernatural things.   This has been noted by many; time after time and case by case.  It’s amazing!  When Gods Blessing is released, it is a time for great celebration!  It’s also IMPORTANT for us as believers to release the Blessing over the lives of others!

I was so excited last week. …

I ran home to tell my children that starting every Friday, the Blessing would be released over their lives.  I didn’t know what their reaction would be, but it was a faith statement.  They were so excited!  “WHAT?”   I said in bewilderment.    They didn’t want to wait until Friday!  I had a good laugh and Hallelujah out of that response!    I began to do this with other people and I noted OPEN DOORS!

All of a sudden barriers were falling down; people who had never been receptive to hear anything at  all; were all of a sudden very excited!  People were not only happy but they were hopeful and faith began to grow!  There is power in the Blessing!

THE  AARONIC BLESSING !

“Yahweh will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection, Yahweh will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you, Yahweh will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete.”  Jeff  A. I walk in the Blessing of God!   I am Blessed that I am saved!  I am Blessed that God loves me so much!  I am Blessed to walk in the knowledge of God.  I am Blessed to have been called by God.  The Blessing goes with me wherever I go.  I  am Blessed that God gave me dominion in the earth realm.  I am Blessed with Gods insight.  I am Blessed to ALWAYS walk by faith and never by sight or any of my senses.  I am Blessed to be kept by the LORD.  I am Blessed that Gods face shines on and upon me.  I am Blessed to have the love and the peace of God.  I am Blessed to walk in the kingdom of light!  I am Blessed to have a bountiful eye and give to the poor.  I am Blessed to honor God because He is worthy!  I am Blessed to be delivered out of trouble.   WHEREVER I GO; THINGS GET BETTER  BECAUSE OF THE BLESSING!  It doesn’t matter where it is, but if I stay there, things will get better.  The Blessing of God turns things around no matter what it looks like.  I am Blessed to be covered by the Blood of Jesus.

I am Blessed to have a heart for God and man.  I am Blessed to have peace.  I am Blessed to be part of the body of Christ.   I am Blessed like Abraham, Joseph, Gideon, Mary, Ruth, Esther, Samson,  Jabez,  Joshua, Noah, David and all of the great men and women of the bible.  The Blessing is my hedge and I will not tear it down.   I am Blessed that the Word of God delivers me from deception!  I am Blessed that there is POWER in the Blessing!

The Blessing of God gives me supernatural ability to do the things that God has called for me to do.  I am Blessed to be courageous, brave and bold!  I am Blessed that God fights my battles for me.  I am Blessed to love myself like God loves me; to see myself as God sees me.  I am Blessed that God is merciful.  I am Blessed that promotion is coming my way.  I am Blessed that I’m going somewhere!  I am Blessed that this is the Year of Total Fulfillment, total completion, filled to the brim until it Overflows!    I am Blessed to fulfill the destiny that God has for me.  I am Blessed to guard my heart with all diligence.

 I am Blessed to get stronger and stronger in the Word of God; which is the will of God.  I am Blessed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.   I am Blessed that the greater One lives on the inside of me.

I am Blessed to have a dream that is my destiny!  I am Blessed to be obedient.  I am Blessed to follow the plan of God!   I am Blessed to be a Blessing to others.  I am Blessed to be in the company of fellow believers.  I am Blessed to bring others to Christ.  I am Blessed to pray with others and to pray for others.  I am Blessed to be healed and to tell others that they can be healed!  I am Blessed to be able to declare and decree Blessings unto others; knowing it shall be established.  I am Blessed that my desires shall be granted because I AM the righteous.  I am Blessed that I do know the scriptures and the power of God!  I am Blessed to seek out and follow Gods blueprint.  I am Blessed to pass ALL tests and trials.  I am Blessed that pressure DOES NOT bother me!   I am Blessed to meditate in the Word Day and night.  I am Blessed to be spiritually mature!  I am Blessed to have overflowing joy!  I am Blessed to complete my assignments immediately because time is of the essence!

I am Blessed to know that none of my Blessings are by my power but by the POWER of God!  I am not only Blessed, but I am very happy!   I declare and decree this all to be true in the Name of Jesus Christ.  AMEN
